Winning Streak Continues...From Belgium to Germany!

From Belgium to Germany, our six students from across the school travelled to compete in this year’s classical ballet competition, Tanzolymp Berlin 2019.

For the competition the student had to learn and perform two classical variations as well as two group pieces which were created for a choreographic competition in Belgium, where the dancers won gold. Alongside competing, the girls had the amazing opportunity to attend many masterclasses led by world-renowned dancers and master teachers.

After a fantastic week, we are thrilled to share that our talented students won the bronze medal in the Classical/Neo-Classical group’s category.

Katie Norman, second year students, said,

Competing within Tanzolymp Berlin 2019 has been such an incredible experience. It has inspired me so much, from competing and performing on stage within the competition to attending various masterclasses, and I can’t wait to continue training now having this experience.

Super work ladies, we are all so proud of your wonderful achievements. You have all worked extra hard to learn your variations and dance pieces and truly deserve your second win! Keep up the good work and bring all you have learnt back to the studio to continue to develop and grow as dancers and artists!
